  • “My husband is a disabled veteran living with ALS. We contracted with Camerio Builders Inc to adapt our home for wheelchair accessibility. This included a complete remodeling of our 1950s bath, widening interior doors, installing new exterior doors, a front ramp, new door hardware, new commercial-grade carpet for our bedroom (so we can now easily roll the Hoyer Lift, shower chair and other equipment over it), as well as other adaptions. The adaption is now complete, is so wonderful, and makes my job as caregiver so much easier. Our bath (including the shower) is now wide enough to provide a 5' turning radius so we can maneuver him in and out of the bath easily. The suggestions made by Travis and Heather were "right on" and worked so well. Since I do not like to pick out home selections (such as colors, hardware, granite, tile, etc), Heather met with us and identified our tastes/needs. She then would email me 4 choices, and we would choose a selection from those 4, making the selection process less stressful for us. Travis and his crew were very professional, did high quality work, were so easy to work with, and left our home in pristine condition. We highly recommend his company for any adaption to your home.”

  • “Working and living in Dallas, TX, I needed someone to do an extensive renovation of a house I owned in Roswell, GA, where I planned to retire. This included gutting the entire interior and re-doing it, plus all new windows, two new decks and more. I needed someone honest and reliable who could take some overall direction and then exercise good judgment and achieve a good result without routine involvement or supervision by me. This was Travis. After an initial meeting, he consulted me remotely on major decisions, but largely I trusted him to act independently, and I was not disappointed. His cleverest idea was to turn an adjoining bedroom into a walk-in closet for the master bedroom, allowing him to open up both the bedroom and the master bath. With this and other changes, he turned a modest-sized bedroom and dark, cramped bathroom into an open, bright, roomy, and comfortable master suite. The quality of his work is evident as soon as you see the decks; solid and substantial, sitting on raised concrete supports, with a structure that’s largely bolted together. Nothing like what they replaced. Inside, the quality is reflected in everything you see, especially in the cabinetry and the tile work. I’ve done no real decorating and don’t feel the need to because there is so much quality to appreciate everywhere. Undertaking a project of this magnitude from 800 miles away could have been a major disaster with the wrong contractor. Thanks to Travis and his team, I got a wonderful result, with minimal effort by me and no anxiety or stress. It doesn’t get better than that.”
